Hot Rods Flathead throttle linkage or rod/cable set up

I'd appreciate if you would post pictures showing a functional and traditional looking throttle linkage or rod/cable set up for one carb. I took a pic as it is now - performs just well enough but I'm planning to make it work and look better.

 

What is the flathead in? have you thought about the s**** throttle linkage?
This is mine.

 

Here you go. Old style s**** pedal mounted on inside of firewall and rod through the wall out to the carb. Simple and works well. Pictures are a little dark.

 

This is the setup on both of mine. Works great!

For duals, but I'm sure it would work fine for a single carb.

 

^^^ This works great. If using a carb with linkage on other side I move/weld an arm on that other side--done many.
Not real fond of the cable throttle setup

 

Thanks for your advice. I have a s**** pedal and will start planning a linkage to make the setup smooth and dependable.
