Found a crack in the radiator today. Anyone have a replacement for my ford Inline 6? All the ones I see the upper hose is on the right not the left.

Where are you? I have a '56 6 cyl. radiator taking up space in my garage.

Since it is specific for your year and model Ford it should be a bolt in, they show it for a V8 which would be incorrect as the flat head has dual hoses top and bottom. In the picture and description it does show the correct hose sizes for your Six and all of the measurements you can compare with your old radiator. If you have further questions you should message the seller before purchase.

Sellers often use photos supplied by the manufacturer that aren't always correct, so it's possible multiple distributors are using a wrong photo. When www.autocitycl***ic.com started selling radiators they posted pics of one '57 radiator that had one outlet (top or bottom?)on the wrong side. I verified there were no '57 radiators that were configured the way they showed, and called them to let them know. Not sure they ever fixed that. When I ordered mine from them, which I've been very happy with, I had them physically check the location of the outlets. So, don't necessarily go by the pics, but also be aware some ebay sellers don't inventory what they're selling, so they can't physically look.
Check them out and notice they also have radiators with shrouds and fans for most our Fords if you're going that route.

It looks like the links I posted above may not be the way to go as they are shipped out of China and there has been some issues (see negative feedback). It looks like this radiator from Champion might work due to the hose locations probably some minor redrilling of mounting holes might be in order. https://www.championradiators.com/3-row-Chevy-Car-V8-radiator-1949-1954

Can anyone confirm these dimensions for my 54 223? I would like an aluminum radiator but an original in good shape would do too. All the ones I’m seeing I will have to verify with the seller as posted before with using manufacturers pictures.

Let me know if interested. I took it out of my car so know it is good. Is original, not aluminum.

I got my Champion on eBay, radiators4less is a good seller. The one in my car is for a '65 Chevy and all I had to do was drill 2 extra holes in the flanges. They give dimensions even on the mounting holes which is a huge help.

Champion has a US manufacturing facility also. If you contact them you can request a US made unit. They will also put the water necks in the locations needed.

radiators4less will do custom work. They also ship free, Champion was charging $30 to ship when I was looking. Mine showed up polished... another $30 charge they threw in. Must have been in inventory.

A follow up on this post. I contacted Champion and they do not offer the US made option anymore. The sales rep told me it was discontinued because of lack of interest. He said they never sold any. I guess made in America doesn't mean as much as it should to consumers.

Kind of sad :( but with the way things are going now people will be pinching pennys anyway they can. All we can hope for is they will maintain the quality of the product. On the bright side we still will have American workers taking your order and American delivery people bringing them to your door and keeping their jobs.

US Radiator makes a fine radiator. Cost more but high quality and looks original. No cooling problems since i installed.

Just looked at their site. I like all the options but you weren’t kidding about the price! Yikes! I would ***ume that for my customline I would choose the fairlane? The dimensions look right for the radiator and inlet/outlet position the same. I know fairlane was the successor to the Crestline which was top model on the 52-54, correct?

Radiators were the same across models. You are correct about the Fairlane succeeding The Crestline as the top trim level.

What I can tell you is that they are great radiators. Mount correctly and look OEM. Service is good and speedy. When I got an aluminum radiator., I just couldn’t put it in. So yes, the US radiator really cost me a bunch, but i am happy. I would call them for the proper application.

He did say that their radiators are backed 100% by the warranty.

Phaton 93 that is one nice setup you have there and the rad look great sitting there. Are those custom water filters that you have inline on the rad hoses?
