No, not really. They just had to have all the street equipment. In the early 60's, about 60-70 percent of the cars at the track where tri 5 Chevies. All different classes and configurations.

It was located in Somerset, KY. Some of the old racers now run the Somernites Cruise. Track shut down in the early 70s. My Uncle ran there for years and several of the guys I knew growing up like Dean Mink, Lonnie Dillingham, Larry Barnett etc. Sent from my iPhone using H.A.M.B.
