   I am trying to figure out why and when the outlet angle on lakepipes changed. We all see pictures from the late 50's when the lake pipers has a 45 degree outlet angle..As far as i can tell, modern ones is 90 degrees.
   Is this strictly a budget or trend issue or what is the deal?
   Also...what company manufactured them first?
