It's even got the hub caps.Hood, doors, trunk, front bumper and grill bar strait and solid.Frame looks OK.How do I tell if the engine is saveable?
In this market? $95 a ton. The valve covers will bring a buck, as will the grille, if it's the small body Olds the windshield fits Chevys as will a lot of odds and ends. Only way to tell if the engine's not junk is to open it, but if the car has a hood on it and the motor has oil in it, it's probably okay, it's only when they get full of water in the cylinders that they turn to junk.
Its worthless, nothing, nada, zip, zilch, zero. Or it could be worth a million bucks. Just depends on what someone is willing to pay for it and how bad they want it.
They're good looking cars when restored but it could take 5K to get it running or 40K to restore it. Depends on the true condition and any potential buyers.
It's an 88,i'm not sure about super. The tail lights are pitted.I don't know the difference in the steering wheels. It's really rusty in back-trunk's gone and the panel between the trunk and bumper is shot .The frame looks ok from what I could tell. I'm not selling,I'm looking at it to buy.
the wheels with the clocks are worth large $$$ the ones without are worth less, but all are cool as hell
Hi, I have one of these steering wheels from a 1951 88 Oldsmobile I purchased in Nebraska back in the 90's. It has the clock, etc. I was going to put it on my 52 project but have taken a different path. Could you tell me what you think would be a fair price to sell the wheel to my cousin ? He loves it and wants it but I want to be fair to him and myself if I sold it. it looks as good as the one in the bottom RH corner, same color and all. Thank you for your time. Damon
