Trying to I.D. and locate or get dimensions to make these seat guard/kick panel/door sill pieces. Figured this would be the place for answers. Thanks in advance. View attachment 4661357 Sent from my SM-G973U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Do you know if a Cabriolet seat is the same as a Roadster? Have a bone stock Henry and a Street Rod, both all steel I could measure. Only good the street rod would do you is if you don't care if it's factory correct.
Cabrio and Roadster seat completely different.Roadster had wood seat riser that the seat springs sit on and wood framed backrest that leans and attaches to the tray behind it and non adjustable,Cabrio has a frame on adjustable tracks.
I'm looking for the painted steel panel between the seat and the door. The original seat is still intact, but other interior pieces were missing and this is the hardest to track down. Sent from my SM-G973U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Sounds more like a question for Fordbarn. There are many guys here who are quite adept at the Ford minutiae, but Fordbarn has more. There's a fella on Fordbarn who advertises exact repro misc stampings and parts for 34 roadsters and similar. Search the cl***ifieds over there and see if you can find him. He might even make the part you seek.
He advertises here also."34fabricator".He has a 34 roadster and I'm sure can help. Those panels were reproduced but many yrs ago.You can probably make them.Try by making a cardboard template. The rolled edge -you might need to hand form.It is designed to conceal the area where the seat back and seat bottom meet is all.I had a 34 and a 35 roadster which had those panels originally.
Are these what you are looking for $295 plus $15 shipping? Send me a PM Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
