    Deviator WINS!!!!!

    Okay, this is nothing compared to all the freinds I've made,
    deals I've struck, information I've gathered and ******** I've happily slopped around here on the glorious H.A.M.B., but It's my contribution...

    It's a hand-etched 3/4" thick peice of granite that stands around 13" tall and 12" wide... I know the chopped/welded 3/4" wrenches for a stand look kinda cheesey, but it's all I could come up with right now.

    Ryan gave me permission to duplicate the H.A.M.B. logo, the photo of the car on the salt flats was also used by permission by the photographer (chime in, I forgot who snapped the pic) - and I believe this is a HAMBer car, god I hope so... a "Throttler" maybe?

    HERE'S THE CATCH;
    This auction begins now, and runs until the week before the H.A.M.B Drags at MoKan Dragstrip in Joplin Mo. Aug. 26th 2006 - YOU MUST ATTEND THE EVENT TO RECIEVE THIS PEICE! I won't ship it, so don't bid if you ain't planning on coming to the drags! I plan on doing one peice each year, and only for the drags. If you ain't there, it goes to the next highest bidder who IS THERE!

    Enjoy, happy bidding, hope you like it!

    This pic is just to give you the idea of it's size---

    Straight shot - no... 'cause black granite is like a mirror. But I am gonna boost the pixels up on the camera and try to get a bigger, more detailed one. Stay tuned!

    Amazing work! I'm always blown away by the artistic talent on this board.
    I'm even more impressed with people who carve or etch...working in the 'nagative' puzzles me...Wish I was going or could afford it! good work

    Just Plain INCREDIBLE! You, sir, are a ruler. I plan on going to the drags, and if I can find a windshield for my car that doesn't force the loss of a limb, I plan to bid before the auction is over.

    That used to belong to Decon Baker, he is Deviator here on the board. He is one of the Throttlers of SLC. He recently sold the car and it is in SC or NC now.

    I'll go 275.00
