Neal..that ain't no "hunk o junk".....it's deadly!.....do you live near Detanator? He is in Santa Cruz..... That is a very sweet ride! but I want to see that thing in the corner(with the slicks?,silver?) is that a .....digger? very cool ride.
Brush - I live a couple of hours south of Dave (Detonator)... Here is the flathead rail... http://www.donshotrodpage.net/Paso/images/XP5270257_JPG.jpg Pic also from Don's Hot Rod Page Paso coverage. The car belongs to a good friend of mine. He had it at my place for a Paso weekend open house. Neal
Come on man...it's the same pile I have been throwing parts at for the past few years. It's just starting to look more like a 32 Ford. Remember this? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v394/NealinCA/FrameandCabB4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v394/NealinCA/32chassisrear.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v394/NealinCA/32front.jpg BTW, I am still looking for those pics of Doane's T-bird... Neal
Ready for some new work. Sorry, I didn't know that R stood for roadster. We do have the parts for an A roadster pickup. I'll try for some pics. Also have a '28 A touring with a V8 60. We got the engine to run but haven't tried to drive it.
I remember, you've came a long way. Thanks for keeping me in mind and I'm still looking for Doane rdstr/pinup pics.
thanks guys for all the pic i think a rpu will be my first real build im thinkin a 292 3x2 3spd od primer red with 16s or wire wheels no channel maybe stock right height just a bare bones fun little ride dont really care what it is t or a is fine, build a frame if i have too.... any one got some cheep parts laying around??
Wow, that is awesome Neal. Every time someone posts a pic of some 50's p/u cab on a 70's frame with a 30's grill, sitting so low it looks like it would fall apart if it went over a speed bump, I get a little "mini puke". Yours is the real deal. Very nice. Any more pics?
That is a cool shop ya got there, is it a barn? got any pics of the bike off to the side? I know its not on the topic of this thread but It looks neat from what I can see. rjb
Nimrod, really like the style of that one and it looks to be real well built to, is it ready for the road as is or when will it be !? Keep us posted, thanks ! / primerkid
Thanks primerkid, It's far from road ready. I haven't done much of anything with it since I moved last summer...I'm just now getting things together enough that I can play with metal again. Heres a shot of that bike rjb. This was a duct tape mock-up I did last winter...the bike is hanging from the ceiling right now, but I might pull it down and finish it up before I continue on the T. And this isn't my barn, the barn is a real mess. This is my tiny little crooked termite eaten shop. -Jeff
How about an interior pic or two??? Here's one we just finished.... sorry, no outside pix, but it is full fendered with pale yellow V-8 wire wheels... Stitch
