If it is stock; there is a hook on top and retainer on the bottom. To remove, the channel is slid up and unhooked at the top and then slid down until the lower retainer is out of the slot.
Hey Rich, thanx! now I’m ***uming the window has to come out? how does that happen, because I’m look’n at this thing and can’t for life of me how that’s go’na happen? course I haven’t tried yet, just look’n at!
I had the opposite problem. Putting the windows in. Car had no windows when I bought it. Had to put the gl*** in and then install the felts. So in your case, I guess you need to remove the felts and then the gl***. I ***ume you are talking about the quarter gl***? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
ok, all I need to do is get something behind felt track, window is to loose need to tighten up a little. so if I unhook top I might be able to slide something behind felt, what do you think? Sent from my iPad using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Yes, one of my front windows was slightly loose causing it to **** when rolling up. Put some shim behind the felt. I think I use some dense foam you can get at a fabric store. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I think I took the felt out and slid it back in with the shim behind it. My windows are only 9” tall though. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
