Has anyone used any other company’s springs? I have found trw, ac delco, and company called mevoteck, mevos are 46.99 and others aren’t much more, and are for Aerostar. Should be the same spring and work just as good right?

Thanks, what I was thinking and from what I can tell/read from people using energy isolators the part number on the isolators from them is 9.6120? Thanks for the help

I ended up ordering a set from kragen/O’Reilly’s they are percision brand springs. They had a 20 percent off sale was 65 bucks free shipping since I ordered other things. Precision Coil Spring Set PRE SP08160
They should be in today or tomorrow. With the free shipping it beat every other company’s price..

  6. My wife, who is a lot smarter than me. got me to install "Honey" on my computer, it finds coupon codes for you when you are checking out. and it actually works. Though, sites like Mac's antique autos only has coupon codes if you spend over $149 and their shipping is ridiculous. C&G ford parts are pretty good.

    Good move!
Please let me know how they work out for you.
I'm trying to put some in my 56 Merc. I swapped a 312 for a 352 and don't have it in yet so I'm curious how low these will drop me. Ohhh the anticipation!

Yea I know, I have Granada spindles also so I’m kind of worried it’ll be too low. I ordered the energy suspention 5/8 thick isolators, so we will see. I think with the small block with aluminum heads won’t weigh it down as much hopefully be perfect. The front suspention parts are at the powder coaters and he just had an accident and hurt himself so there will be a delay getting it all back. I’ll post updates as soon as I get it all back together.
