Well I am going to call this good for now. I still have a lot of work to do on the quarters, so no sense in getting it perfect at this point. Thanks to everyone that replied. Basically just hammering and dollying and just plain old fashioned dent banging got the job done. No filler will be needed here, just primer I think. I'll know more when the time comes for primer....
If you can sit under the panel you could place a long driving iron on the lows and hammer the iron with a heavy hammer thus raise the lows.
There is a novel to read if you'd like....4 years of posts, starting out when I didnt have a clue where I was going with the project until now.... https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/1950-chopped-chevy-sedan-delivery.1005321/
Good job. Isn't it nice to have some good metal to work with? If you had that same dent on a car built in the last 40 years, you would have to fill it. No chance of metal finishing.
Well **** just realized my link didn't work. The book as y'all figured is called The Key to Metal Bumping. Sorry about that [emoji51] Looks like you've got a decent handle on it already. Sent from my SM-A205U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
