  1. WIN_20190406_17_41_29_Pro.jpg Fired up the coupe and took her out on a run on Sunday which was my birthday. She ran and drove great, all the little things I did to her over the winter and during the last 7 weeks have paid off. She is a absolute monster. It was the most fun I have had in months .:D

Finally have the time and motivation to get the Falcon put back together since she got her new Wimbledon White paint. Got the bumpers back on, taillights, headlights, mirrors and emblems. Got some chassis black sprayed in the appropriate areas. Lot's to do yet but like a lot of you, I've been spending a lot more time at home lately so at least I'm getting something done.

  5. Moved the two-many door out of the garage. Under it's own power for the first time in 35 years... now to get the fenders, grille and hood aligned properly. And take care of a few other problems. outside.JPG

I stayed up too late trying to disassemble this stuck flathead. I found a 1CCM crank, which I’m pretty sure is a Mercury crankshaft made on a Monday... :D

  11. You got the right tool for the job. I need to look up those on the web and see where I might be able to pick one up.

Checked the brakes on my new toy a 1946 fordor , the stopping power was not existing.
When removing the drums everything was good as new from a older restoration , the brake master was leaking and rusted, had to use the torch to remove the steel filler cap ( can’t understand why they leaved that master in)
Replaced the brake master and new brake fluid and now we got brakes.

next job is drive the wheels of and enjoy

Replaced all my dash light bulbs with green LED's. Well actually I had my son do most of it. Home school auto shop class. It's nice being able to read my dash at night, some of the bulbs looked like they could have been original. IMG_2204.JPG IMG_2207.JPG

  24. Finished welding the right floor in the 56 wagon and started fitting up the left floor. Fun project but I'll be glad to move on to some of the other things it needs.

Today I took in an old truck, coughing, sputtering, pinging, and unable to climb even the slightest grade, and turned it back out, timed, and jetted to 100% stoichiometrically-correct, for the entire operating range, in 90-minutes.

The customer has already called back, asking about handling and brake upgrades, as he never realized the performance potential.

I got the 55 Chevy bread truck running again. It now has an early Chevy 292 in it. Still needs more work, but it might get on the road soon.
