Technical Ford Tool Identification Help

I’ve had this kicking around my garage for the last few years. If anyone can identify this tool, I’d appreciate it. Has Ford script and a letter “C” stamped into it. Thanks.

 

I'm pretty sure that's a magnet for a Model T magneto.

May have lost it's magnetism over the years. They had to be "recharged" in a special coil.

That's a cool website. Who knew ya had to re-magnetize yer ignition system? I like that guys hat, even if it starts raining in the next county, he's good to go. Notice they had pretty spacious back pockets on the overalls in those days.
