History 1954 Ford Award?

I ran across this banner that had been in a auction and I had never heard of a 4 letter award, anyone know the story behind it? HRP

That doesn't even make sense. "Best of Show" 2nd place? Either its the best of the show or not...

 

If they're giving away awards for "4 letter words", I should certainly be a contender...both in quantity and quality
