Whose attending GG Puyullap next weekend

I thought I would start the roll call thread for puyullap. whose going to be there. I am flying into town for it, will be hanging with the Misfits like I usually do...

 

I might make it over. I will be busy painting the 52 that weekend. Gotta get it together for Hotrod-a-rama.

 

planned on going to the drags Friday after work

and the fairgrounds Saturday

 

Be racin the Dart Fri and going to the show Sat. ---Fed

 

I'll be at the fairgrounds Saturday probably arriving in time for a gourmet lunch.

I will be rolling down in my merc with a whole bunch of other canadians coming down, see you all there.

 

Will be going down on friday with all the other Kanuckelheads hope to see every body at Dale's[misfits] new dig's

 

Plan on being down there Saturday.

 

Someday I 'd like to go. Puyallup is where I went to high school, Rogers H.S.,I have not been back since 86'. Kinda miss the old place. Do they still allow crusing downtown? I used to drive the Rambler all weekend for under $10 and have all the girls ignore me for free!

I hope to make it to the drags Friday night. We will all be parked at the same spot, not going on Saturday, to much other stuff going on. Next year we're all planning a NOT GOING IN show in the back parking lot at the fairgrounds. Gary will make his million dollars without any of my money

1/3 done! Holy shit those FEDs were crazy!! It was good to see so many friends there and several Hamb-nicknames "got a face". One of the best events I've ever visited! Or maybe "visit" is a wrong word, I spent 9 hours there... What ever, here are the photos.





That Canadian 32 Tudor Sedan was FAAAST and sounded BAAAD!





I was told that this altered wheelbase Comet has been in NW street racing scene a decade and it has also been seen in local cruisings and hamburger lines... Pretty cool huh!!??




I have never seen that fast FEDs, actually they are driving better times now than in the 70'ies when they were replaced with modern ones!




This little Austin must give an interesting ride...

I think you can never get enough of old front engine dragsters!





Several beautiful hotrods were parked at the pit. This little RPU was one of my favourites. You can really make a "period correct" hotrod with the parts you can find if you have a good eye.




I don't know anything about this vintage bike, but it's nice, somehow.




Just my $0.02, but in this photo can be seen all what a man will ever need... I mean the Divcos...




Oh, in addition to the previous capture, I was not only given a ride in this Roadster but I also drove one round around the area by myself. Haven't driven a hotrod lately so it you can be sure it was a lot of FUN!!!!
