    OK...

the headlights are only HALF DONE... I have a feeling the other side will take just as long...

so I worked on it some more damn it.
    addicted...

I hammered and dollied the cowl section that was cut out for a battery back into place and started to tack it in. MUCH BETTER. Sorry no pic...

Well I have the headers- and the dump setup figured out. I altered a set of trick early 34 style headers I got at a BOB BLEED garage sale... I think he said they were ol' skool... and that I should run em.

***us and Jen actually picked them up for me and brought them up WITH the 34 radiator Bleed found at Iola- they came up yesterday in the pickup and I took them out to the A&W with ELTOOLO from the hamb---> ROOT BEER RULES...

The radiator is MINT... MINT MINT!!!
    its bad ***...

I found the lower section of the grill with the parts that were in the car... so the front radiator/grill/ and pan are complete!!! and all 1934.

I started to make rad mounts and hook up the hoses. Damn the clearance is tight... but it'll all work.

Headlight stands and the HEIGHT of the lights... it makes or breaks it...

what do you think? look OK right there? they've been up... down... and in the middle... but this looks pretty good to me.

    The headers rule.

Glad the headers will work....... that radiator was a good score!!!

My head light rule of thumb.

Headlights should not stick above the tire, or past the center of the grille.

Dude I think I'm gonna write a Hot rod rule book.......

Ben I'll tell you one thing... you wont see me pushing this outside untill I do have the tie rod on. DAMN was that a *****.

I'm so glad you OFFERED to help push it back inside. hahaha... it was like fighting the tire- Ben in one corner and Tuck in the other....

Bleed- a book would RULE.... wouldnt just be another RULE book? hahahaha... I'm going to illustrate a 1962 Ruler for the cover... that would RULE.

I really dig the headers... simple and to the dump tube. Thanks man.

Up all night? I dont know what your talkin about toke... If I keep this up though I'm gonna get sick thats fo shurr...

Sure looks good the way it is but damn it that motor has to all come out again...

Lower the headlights about and inch and a half, and bring them forward the same amount. And don't use Model A's, it needs something more modern. If you need to use a Ford product, at least get some '35 pickups or similar. A pair of short BLC's or Arrows would be best for that car, IMO.

I dont have much for headlights here... some guides- and the A's.

a guy down the road has some 34's... but for now I'm gonna run the A's cuzz its what I got. This car once on t he road will always be a work in progress... and I expect to tweak alot of stuff...

I got a few more things done-
welded/hammered and fixed the deck lid- it fits into place nice.
pulled the dash and freed up the window crank, tacked the window frame back together and it cranks in and out nice!
fixed the cowl vent now it lines up and works awesome
mades hood rods for the rad- just have to thread the rad ends
made cool flathead carb screens and ditched the chrome frog mouths for now...

    Thats it.

if you referring to the old independant front end I cut it out and welded a new frame section from a 37 ford...

I narrowed it to fit the dimensions of the 34 frame.
They're basicly the same frame from the firewall forward.

I posted updates from its original barn find post- most of them numbered if you wana go back and look.

Toolo- it was fun hanging out- your boy RULES!

hey timmy... I like the naysayers now settle down a little bit haha... I want all the input I can get thats what this place is for-

I'll make a Utube video... ill do one after I'm done with the headers you guys gotta hear it, it sounds AWESOME.

I think you used the wrong grille, it would look much "tuckier" with this grille.
