I want to put bubble/ teardrop skirts on my 1936 ford 5 window coupe.
Night Prowler, Big Jims etc say the steel skirts dont fit 36's, only the fibrergl*** ones are meant to fit. I want steel ones.

Can any one help with why the steel ones won't fit?

I got the steel ones from Nightprowlers for my 36 Dodge and I knew beforehand I had to modify them to fit.I cut out all the existing mounting brackets and made my own to fit the fenders. You can take a look how they fit on my profile album.
    It`s a different make but I hope this helps anyway.With a torch and welder it`s a snap....:D

I made mine on my chevy with 1/4 round stock and some 18 gauge. They fit well and were cheap too

I got some from Freedom Street Rods in Atascadero, CA, several years ago. They were steel, Asian manufacture, and they just barely covered the rear wheel wells completely. The brackets weren't very satisfactory and required some adaptation. I was satisfied with the quality overall. Looked like this:

Check out this company. I bought a pair of skirts for my Olds from them and I’m very impressed by their work and a very nice price too. I’m sure they can help you.
