    That's a pretty nice Chebby.

  3. I think the second and third cars in your original post are about perfect. I'd do whichever one you like best.

Cut 2 coils and add 2 inch blocks in rear. It will be low enough. Or be different like this. Gasser Coupe.jpg

    So far..
I've ordered a set of 15x6 wheels 0 offset, 3-1/2 BS with spider caps and smooth trim rings.
I'm leaning towards a set of 205/75/15 tires with between 2-1/2" and 3" whitewalls.
And today I picked up a set of '54 uprights with spindles from a friend; Can these be used to lower the front?
Will I need any other parts to go with the uprights and spindles?

Interestingly... my tires are 205/75/15, 2 1/2" whites. Coker cl***ics. Wheels are 6", 0 offset.

54 uprights will lower you some (I forget the exact amount... 1"?) You could do stepped lower arms as well and you're getting in the territory that my car was in. There's a build thread here on the HAMB that goes through stepping the lowers.

Perfect. That tire and white wall size look perfect! Thanks!
I've noticed in the dropped uprights ad from fatman fab that they say "The matching dropped steering arms provide the essential outer tie rods end location needed to avoid bumpsteer".
If I use stock 54 uprights do I need to buy '54 steering arms too?
