Event Coverage San Luis Obispo Cruise Resumes After 40 Years Due to caronavirus

From the end of WWII to July 3, 1980, San Luis Obispo (California) had a vibrant cruise. First on Friday nights and later on Thursday nights.

About a month ago the cruise returned. It has grown particularly strong in the past 3 weeks. We hope to ultimately move it to Wednesday nights once our farmers market returns. You are all invited to attend! Hope to see some of you there!

When: Every Thursday evening from about 7:00-9:00 PM.
Where: Downtown San Luis Obispo (Higuera and Marsh Streets)

Good to see people getting out and enjoying themselves - but, along the route do not see people social distancing, etc. -- maybe SLO has had minimal intrusion by Covid-19, do not know - but, the City should at least try to encourage health safety

 

So one of the symptoms of COVID 19 is the resurrection from the dead of old cruising happenings?

 

Since March 14, SLO County has experienced one death (RIP), 253 total cases, 227 fully recovered and 3 currently hospitalized.

 

No, not "symptoms." "Consequences" is the correct word to describe what's going on.
