I pulled the cam out of my 63 389 earlier today an I’m trying to figure out what it is. My father in law had it rebuilt about 15 yrs ago but he just paid a machine shop to rebuild the engine. On the rear it has 200642 stamped and on the side it has the numbers 1805 cast. It’s a replacement cam but I’d sure appreciate if someone can help me figure out what it is. Thanks in advance! Thank you Phil34!i figured it was a seal power part but I couldn’t find anything that confirmed that?? That date code doesn’t work with my memory lol. It seemed to me my father in law had had it rebuilt a couple years before 2006. Hmm Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Good that you figured out the cam specs, but wow that is a serious grandma cam. If you're looking for any performance get a different bigger cam. Sent from dumb operator on a smart phone
Yeah, there is absolutely nothing about me that can put that cam back in the car!!! I’m looking at the 2802 summit cam with 224/234 duration at 0.050 and .466/.488 lift. Or the smaller 2801 cam. Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
