One more ford wide 5 question

    If i do decide to run my wide 5s,where is the best place to get replacement wheel studs and lug nuts for these? They are missing in action!

    If you can find someone with a '28-48 Ford catalog, that has dimensional specs for the studs; take that to a parts store and see if anything in the Dorman catalog fits.
    I've got a Dorman catalog, but its from 1942 and they may have changed stuff...

    Thanks again Bruce. I'd wager that at least one or two part numbers have changed since 42!!!! HaHa

    The catalog--actually from 1939, sorry, thought it was more current!--says you need a Dorman H20, so checkitout--maybe you are realdamnlucky and that one is still in the book. Report results back here!

    I would also like to know this. I have some drums coming and to be safe I was thinking about installing all new studs all the way around. Keep us posted!

    just a side note...i use wide 5s ,and i have had a helluva time finding anyone with a bolt circle adapter to balance my tires.it looks like im going to have to balance them with the drums on...
