thanks! we were sitting on the back porch to watch the storm roll by. I kept watching for the rainbow, we get them often due to the eastern view, the minute it showed up I pulled the car out.
as probably noticed; it is a '34 mascot on my '33. I always liked the looks of it better.

 

I was so busy looking at that great 33 that I almost missed the rainbow

 

it is actually a double rainbow.

...I think this is sporting one of those...Hard to imagine these sitting in wrecking yards but there are times when regardless of what's on 4 wheels scrap is scrap and events may make old cars just that many times...

Such a stunning machine right down to the cap...and in the Big picture that cap might be one of the easy things to grab in remembrance before the big crush...

In searching these out quite a number had moving parts...many personalized to a love or profession...that's a neat one... @4tmike​

 

HI, Not a collector I just like the looks of the vintage caps. It took me 6 years to find a nice cap for my 34 Chevy and I found it at a auction in my home town.. This is a neat thread and fun to post on.
