    Can anyone tell me how their 31 ford
    ch***is are? Looking at stage 1 kit. Seems cheap almost 2 cheap? At $3000 for the drop axle.

    You may want to call them....stage 1 looks like you don't get much. And a model a frame isn't a whole lot more that 30 or so feet of rectangular tubing and a couple of crossmembers.
    3 grand seems right.

    I had a guy in Oregon build me a ch***is for my ‘31 A 2 years ago (Dagel Street Rods). It was about $2000 for the frame and about $9000 for the whole thing with front and rear axles, brakes, shocks, coil overs, x-member, brake booster, ‘32 gas tank, and radiator. Very nicely done too.

    Well so much for that all they do is stage 3 anymore.

    I like to stick with names I know. With up to date parts and price lists. I had one friend that got a screaming deal on a used '31 Ford ch***is, the customer had the car in the shop for a ch***is upgrade.

    Ya I'll probably just end up with a Pete and jakes frame. I already have a good ford 8.8 for it was going to be for my jeep.

    I was headed for a Pete and Jake’s frame, but heard about a builder nearby so went with him. All the suspension, etc. still came from Pete and Jake’s. I don’t think you can go wrong there.
