HotRodA... The Maroon is called "Royal Hudson Maroon"
................... The "Volvo Grey" doesn't have a year attached to it. I would older think late 50's early 60's.
This is from the ENDURA paint brand.

Don't know how I've missed your build. Very nice job. We've both been building '32 5 windows about the same period in time. Keep up the great work.

That maroon, though it looks more burgundy to me, has the same named as a venerable CPR engine that's been restored here in BC. You may have to drive your Deuce out to th enext Deuce Days and make a side trip to take a ride on the "Royal Hudson" #2850.

They were put to good use by Air America in Laos. Sturdy planes landed on un-improved makeshift dirt strips.

This is a pretty innovative contraption on the back of the engine to help with setup. Did you make it or is it store bought?

    Hello Larry...
These are aircraft clamps. I know they are not as attractive as the ones you have shown... I wanted the car to have a budget build look kinda like an aircraft feel when you look under the skin. Functional/ minimalist simply there to do the job with no frills.

Outstanding....... Awesome attention to detail.... superb colour choice . So can you tell us what the plan is for an exhaust system. I know the set of headers at present resembles aircraft headers . But...

Nice attention to detail. What was the original application for the rear shocks?

Kiwi4d... Yes the headers resemble WW2 fighter exhaust. Not sure If I am going to run these. I want to get the body on and get it running to see how they look and sound. I would only use this setup with hood sides installed. I think the primary tubes look ugly sticking straight up along with the horizontal plenum tube. With just the tubes sticking out of the sides I feel it should look unique and appealing.

31Apickup... The shocks are from So-Cal Speed shop. There are 2 different lengths available for both front and rear.
