COE Spanky's 1952 GMC COE, Holmes Heavy Duty Wrecker

I found it on the West Coast.

 

We haven't heard from you in quite a while Spanky, looks like you're still playing with GM tow trucks. This one looks a little more hefty than some of your others, am I right?

 

Yes Steve, This one is a 470 series GMC 3 1/2 ton, COE, with a long wheelbase, Holmes Heavy Duty, model W35 Wrecker on it. The Chevrolet COE Wreckers I had were 2 tons, with Medium Duty Holmes Wreckers on them.
