Just thought I'd post a pic or two while I could. Both cars are four doors. The 55 Bel Air is all original except the tires, breather, and a few belts and hoses. 35,000 original miles, factory AC, 265 V8, Powerglide trans it's destined for resto. (long story) The 50 is a Styleline Deluxe with a newer 235 (I think) straight 6, three speed on the column, and 6 volt system. I'm building it for the wife and she has picked the colors. Cadillac Blue Onyx exterior with ghost flames, light cream interior (velour and 'hyde), and midnight blue carpet. I've got a tilt/telescopic column from a 70's Caddy to go in it. Both front and rear door handles will get shaved. California front bumper, rear endcaps will go and the taillights will be shaved and end up in the bumper gaurds.
Current project. 1961 Ford 1/2 ton shortbed unibody. It will have a 292 Thunderbird engine with 4 barrel and a Fordomatic ****** from a 55 Fairlane. Current plans are gloss black with flames. Haven't decided if I wanna keep the red steelies or go with chrome reversed yet. Currently replacing the floorpans.
No it's not traditional. This has taken a bit of my time and gettin ready for the paint shop. 1977 Pontiac Can Am.
Funny thing: they are all tagged, ***led, and insured except the 50. $$$$$ Don't ask me why. My wife already does that...
Man that's a lot of doors! Nice you have them on the road.. I like tri-5 chev's.. I just hate their price!
