Looking for suggestions for an OPEN transport of old car where economy is more of a concern than protection of the car. I'd like to do business with the little guy rather than the BIG Transport Companies. Need to move one from NY to Florida.
I can not figure out how to find it. (the HAMB - O- dex. Could you tell me where there is a link to it? Even though I have been reading things for years I am only on this site occasionally. I'll probably be on more in the future because I am going to buy another car very soon.
Never mind the earlier ask for help. I fould the link in the 3 light grey bars on the right corner of the page. Thanks for your tip though.
USHIP would be my choice. Just had my 1940 Mercury no running project delivered from Iowa to Lynwood ,Ca..1700 miles for 1200..no surprises..I liked that you pay upfront to uship, and only when ur car arrives does the transport driver gets his cut from uship via code that u give driver so uship releases his cut of the pie...the small carriers wanted 2200 and up..I got delivery within 30 days of commiting.
