Anyone have a good reference for shipping a vehicle cross country? I'm in need of transport from Sacramento, CA to Allentown, PA. Let me know of your experiences with shipping companies.
I had good luck with http://www.kiwiskarriers.com in transporting a non-running 51 Mercury from Montana to Indiana about a year ago. It came on a single open trailer behind a older diesel suburban on time and with frequent communication with the driver. I don't know how they did it for $1,200. Ol Blue
I can tell you who not to use! Just kidding. I've used brokers in the past with really good luck other than the car getting totalled just now. Try Northern Lights Transportation at 812-272-2693 (Steve Johnson) or Miller Auto Transport out of California (I can't find their number at the moment). They can shop deals around for you and usually keep about $150-200 for themselves.
