1952-59 Ford Anyone use this voltage reducer?

I’m debating whether using one of these or a runtz on each gauge.

 

I ***ume you converted to 12v but still want to use your original gauges?

E is right why add more junk and possible problems.that is what they made it for

 

It is mentioned here in paragraph # 13 https://darksidersrealm.forumotion....lt-positive-ground-to-12-volt-negative-ground You hook it up the same as in the Mustang diagram here ( DO NOT hook up the amp guage if you now have an alternator)

 

There's a guy in Michigan that takes these junk CVR's and converts them to solid state. No more problems.
