checked the mag for ya, the only pic I found is on the cover.

I know I have it,,I wish they mentioned the car..It was a famous car and some one posted pix Before,,but I can't find the post,,,Thanks tho..

 

That's funny! I was thinking the same thing about that car. Great color combo, whole set-up really. I am in the process of drilling my front axle like that one and going to set my motor back under the cowl too.
I also would love to see more pics.

That is the "Travel-ons" club drag car from LA. I'm not sure that it ever had a full feature in a magazine, but I would be surprised if it didn't.

Here is a picture my friend took of it when he was in LA back in 1961.....it's a *****in' car. You can see they switched from Halibrands to Americans after the Winternationals.

Holy ****! I didn't know that car was a flip up funny car style thing!
Kinda wish it was a door slammer. O-well, still like it, looks like they have a chrome straight axle in that pic of Brians.
