How to find posts by a specific person???

Discussion in 'Questions & Suggestions' started by brianangus, Jul 11, 2006.

  1. One of my new hotrod friends has decided to join the HAMB, (after me telling him what a great site it is). He wants to know how to find all the posts I have put up on the HAMB over the last year, and frankly Scarlet, I haven't got a friggin clue how to do that. Can anyone tell me please?---Brian

Above find Members link; follow that to your name and there you'll find what you are looking for. Or better yet just click on your name here to your left when you send a message.

Just click on your name above your picture on any post you have made.

All he has to do is click on your name there to the left and select "Find more posts...". You can also get to it through your profile page. You can get to any profile page from the members list (top of the page, just under the HAMB logo).

Another feature--click on "search" at top of screen, then "advanced search".
This has a bunch of useful options, including searching restricted to a particular user name, so he could specify "briangus" and "carburetor", for instance.

OK So I am the guy!!!! I know its sad for a computer geek to ask the question, BUT I know how to see all Brian's posts once I find Brian, but is there not some way to save Brian (from what) in my home page so I can find HIM without searching thu 500 members.

    Thanks

There's a "buddy list" feature that may be what you want--I've never figgered it out. If you try it, report back!
