Only 30.000 " original " miles... And it still dumps ! (To bad I don't have a photo 3hrs later...loaded with 2 large Fir trees for firewood )

This GMC tow truck belongs to a friend of mine, spent most of its life working at a Central Texas Chevrolet dealership. I love it.

here's one i had a few years ago. 1961 10 ton FWD. ex-state plow truck. state of minnesota sent this in for a repower in the 80's, spent 50K on it, and then basically never used it. new ***mins L10, new 10 spd roadranger, 7 k alone just for the power steering upgrade. sent the diffs and transfer case back to timkin. i had a folder full of the receipts. i'm sure it sat around with all the drivers hating the old thing, and with the ****erfly hood i'm sure the mechanics were not too fond of it either. got it at an auction for 900 bucks!! bought a battery and drove it home.
