Thank you. I do admire your car. I will be using a painted 28 grill with a stone guard. Mine is my avatar. Steel wheels.
I like the scallops. I like cream and red, but yours is spot on.

Could someone photoshop the Hotrodmano roadster in red and cream?

  6. My *favorite* roadster is Phil Cool's orange 1978 AMBR-winning highboy.
It reminded us that there's more to life than vans and Buick V6's.

Around the same time, Barry Lobeck gave us the "Ohio Look" with his dirt-track-shod, solid hood-sides highboy:

But I also like the yellow Keesler '32, both the original & replacement:

And of course, Pete Chapouris' "Limefire":

Holds the G/BFR and G/BGR record at Bonneville. 210.881mph in G/BFR. Driven to Bonneville and set the record. Also, drag roadster with injected SBC.

I called Rodders' Journal a while back to renew my subscription and actually talked to Steve Coonan. It was a very cool conversation with "da man". We bench raced until he was probably tired but he was most gracious. Hope to see him at LSRU or El Mirage someday. By the way, the R.J. is the best and most informative mag for us rodders !

My favorite is my own, in all her cobbled-together glory. Here she is after a spin around the lake this morning. roadster3.JPG

This is my favorite Roadster because it was mine. I owned this for several years and before I joined the HAMB. Thanks to "themoose" for the photoshop so I can post a pic of it. the paint/wheels took it out of the HAMB style/parameters. Pretty standard IMO, 29 body, 32 nose, bolt on top and snap in windows I made for our Wi. weather, 32 rails, Pete & Jake front end, 9" Ford rear w/3:55 posi, mild 355, TH400 trans, fun car, hauled ass, but too small/uncomfortable for me or I got too fat and old LOL. traded for unfinished 32 3 window. 29 roadsterflat black.jpg
