I'm a newbie, been sitting in the shadows lurking for a while. Gracie, graciously talked me into signing up, and warned me of the hazing. But hey, we all gotta pay our dues I suppose. I live outside of Birmingham, AL, and have been tinkering with old cars since my first gocart at 8, and recently turned 38. First car was a 67 Camaro, that I sold a few years ago, with the promise to get my teeth into a real hot rod ride. Well, I bought my 1929 Model A Pickup last summer, while on vacation, and have begun slowly mind you, working on it as time and finances allow (have a turn of the last century house we bought at the same time last year). So, now that you're a sleep, or crying from boredom, I'll sign it off here. Look forward to reading more great stuff on here, and have learned a great deal from it so far. Thanks, and to all a good night!
Welcome from huntsville. If Gracie said you are ok thats more than fine with me. A few hamb members in bham but they dont post much. Your turn of the centry house. Where in bham?? ...later Bobby...
I appreciate the reply and welcome! Not sure how familiar you are with the area, but very close to Springville, in St Clair county. I didn't think I had seen many posters from this area.
Welcome Welcome... I haven't been on here in ages... I guess I need to get back on here and do some hazing myself to get it going.... I'll start: Camaro? Ick! (I'm a Ford girl don't cha know!) Don't you dare put a Chevy in that Ford!
