The admin on this forum didnt like the car and didnt think it is traditional so he moved the thread out of the "projects" part of the forum so i lost motivation to post updates here, i've just started on the new outfit on the car and if everything turn out as planned it will soon have a dark Candy paint with panels and other stuff, other than that i've rebuild the engine with a little bit more fun stuff in it and been driving it a lot. Dont know if i will post more of it here tho. Sent from my SM-G973F using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This is the exact reason I don't bother posting a lot of technical stuff or do a build thread on the HAMB. Your awesome build gets canned but 2000 threads about building the same Model A are perfectly fine. It's a real shame especially that your pics and posts got axed because there could be a lot of great technical information to glean. I know there are lots of people on here that hate air ride and still (erroneously) equate it only to mini trucks and imports. But for people who run pre-1961 Buicks with a torque tube, and want to upgrade to open drive, a detailed pictorial on a 4 link swap would be very helpful since one way or another, there would need to be some custom suspension installed in that car.
You're complaining that non-traditional content gets axed from a forum that is specifically focused on traditional rods and traditional customs? Not sure I get your logic. Now, back to that beautiful Buick!
Other than the bags the wheels are from -64, and those are the newest parts on the car Sent from my SM-G973F using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
Looks great. I hope to build a custom myself one day. The backingplates for my front brakes on my hotrod build is from a 55 Century.
