    Nice event at South Mountain Raceway. It was good to get out and see some racing even though my car was not quite ready to join in.

    Thanks for the photos. Good to see they were cropped to cut out wasted space.

  11. Thanks for the pictures. I was there, too. Great weather, great cars, and a good crowd, too. September 20th is glory days at South Mountain Drag-way. If it is anything like yesterday, it will be great again.

    Good to see you too Steve. Sorry I don’t have any better pics of your car, too many people photo bombing in front of me when you ran.

    Thanks for the great pictures. It was a great event. And a pleasure to meet you and your son again. Marcia's Flying 7 ran 55+ MPH and 12.2 in the eighth (fastest 4 banger, by just a little!). My T ran 43 mph and 15.2. We had 12 Roaring Roadsters in our group, The biggest turnout in quite awhile. The EMMR supports our racing and helps to get us track time at many of the local dirt tracks. Bracket racing these unpredictable cars is a blast. We will have another race at South Mountain in the fall. Bring out your Bangers and Flatheads and give it a try to be Vintage Eliminator!!

    Always great seeing ya'll at the events, I learn a little something each time. A shout out to South Mountain Raceway and EMMR for putting this together. A great little track and the museum is only a few miles down the road, a must see if you enjoy racing.

    @mad mikey -
    Only made one p***, track delays and then rain as I was getting ready to stage for my second p***. Run was to be a shakedown, I was nervous, wanted to successfully make it down the track.
    Didn't burn the slicks long enough. No power shifting. 7.64 et, .134 reaction 1.88 60 foot and 88 mph.
    The car has a lot more in it, the driver needs to improve!
    We had a fun day, next time it's going to be a 1/4 mile track.

    Not bad for a shake down. Nice 60 ft. It will come. Remember , if it was easy everyone would do it. Congrats on your first run Steve.:):):):):):):):):):)

    Wray, thanks for taking the time to post the pics!
    The twin flatty dragster was sooo nice! It's aluminum tank was hand peaked, true art. Injector linkage was beautiful.
