Anybody have a pic of how the inner front fender should look on a 37 Chevy coupe? I cant seem to figure it out...wasn't installed when I got the car. Should it be in top of frame rail or but up against?
Aprons bolt between body and grill shell with cut outs for suspension. I'd bolt all sheet metal together off the car if practicable, note the lower radiator cradle that bolts top frame, this would locate grill shell as point of reference.
Great thanks! Do you know what goes on the bottom? Looks like some sort of cloth material to keep form rubbing the frame?
Yes. The original insulator was a fabric wrapped material of some sort. I haven't searched the subject to any depth, but I do know the aftermarket offers rubber parts in their place. https://www.chevsofthe40s.com/detai...skets_To_***emble_Front_End_With_Fenders.html @Hnstray .
How does this kit fit? Did you remove the rivets and glue. Where do the rubber pieces go? Thanks for the help.
