I'm liking the samples so far!! I've been wondering how to re-grill mine and I like the grill treatments in all of these. What grill is in that flamed olds? Here's mine (in progress). I have located skirts since these were taken. Sorry about the pic size. I need a lesson in resizing or using thumbnails or something.
Hey Hardway, If you do decide to change the grill, let me know I would be interested in buying the one your olds has now. Rey
This is mine, I have not taken any recent pics (these are about 6 months old) but all the welding is done and its sitting on all 4's. I am working on turning it on sometime this month to get a bit more motivated. 4 door converted to 2 door with a 40's ford rear glass Rey
Haven't seen any rear shots of the "green one" before, but have to say I just don't get the taillight/ rear fender treatment... Why go for 51-52 Chevy look on a Olds?
The Rockstar Olds how it looks "now"... I know,it's a bad one... Beside some small details I'd say the Richard Zocchi/Rick Chavez Olds is one of the best looking ones ever.
I can't take any credit for that photo, it was posted even earlier on by another HAMBer. Here are two actually built during the era. This one a typical street custom, lots of attention paid to the stance. Low buck with silver painted rims.
here is a 53 with metal work by paul bragg, done for fellow road rocket ralph bagdasarian in fresno. sorry for the not so good picture!
