Ryan, thanks for posting that. I'm sure I'm not the only one who was wondering about contacting some of those that we know or have an inside contact with and not feel like we were stepping on your toes.

Has anyone mentioned Streamline Hot Rod Parts/Genie Shifter?

  3. Well, I just bought 2 grand worth of stuff from Speedway, yesterday and asked them about an HAMB Alliance discount. They declined.
It would be great if they worked with the HAMB 'cause they have alot of good parts.

That was my reaction too. It'd be cool but I can't see Speedy Bill doing that.

I'll add **** Spadaro to the list along with Speedway, Night Prowlers and why not go for some Jegs or Summit.

axle drop shops like mor-drop, gauge places or even rebuilders, brockmans mellow tones even though their prices are good already, and for sure the night prowlers.

I've been kicking around the idea of being a Mooneyes jobber for awhile. I don't think Moon will give a discount direct to HAMB alliance members. If I can get a big enough order to open my account, I'll be able to give a 5% discount off Moon's retail prices. I know it doesn't sound like much, but every dollar adds up when you're working on your car. Also, the margin between jobber pricing and retail is almost what the 5% discount is. I'm here to help you guys out. Some items such as wheels, books, collectibles, and others do not have a discount. Those items would not have a discount. I'm always looking to expand my Hot Rod parts selection. I can try to do this with other lines as well. Ryan, I hope you add me to the vendor list!

For guys looking for a discount at the local auto parts store, ask the manager if they offer car club discounts. Our local Auto Zone gives a small discount if you can show that you are in a club. Our club uses business card size membership cards to take advantage of this sort of offer. Heck, if you park a snazzy looking hot rod in front of his shop for 30 minutes while you browse the store most managers will give you a discount AND a pat on the back if you ask.

Summit, Jegs, Ohio Crankshaft, World Products, Comp Cams, Crane, Doug Herbert, Strange Engenering, S&W, Coan & how about Goodyear or Mickey Thompson for racing tires. I'm kind of sick of forking out $500 a year for 2 slicks for my race car.

We sell Simpson just not Impact. Bell is the way to go. Step in tradition with some very traditional designs. Still one of the Safest Helmets in the world.
