Hey everyone, just wanted to share this short documentary I put together about some friends and their roadsters. I'm planning on expanding on it once I get some more time and resources. Let me know what you think! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zh--j0NpXdA
I watched that a day or two ago. I really liked it also! Very cool use of the old footage with yours, and that Cash song goes perfect.
That's you?! wow! i found this two nites ago or last nite when i was just browsing youtube *its addicting* I figured it was someone from the HAMB but i didnt post anything about it. Any pics of the cars you guys have? and yeah great video, wish it was longer cause i could watch stuff like that all nite.
sweet man...but what are you using those old 3-legged jackstands for? is that to keep with the traditional theme?
very cool video with the vintage footage mixed in.i noticed in the lepers flyer that it say "marin" at the bottom...nor-cal marin?
Yeah, that would be marin county. They're a pretty small club as of now, only three guys. I'm glad you're all enjoying it. I'm looking forward to expanding on this a little bit. I've been trying to put together a documentary about traditional hot rodding and customs for a while. Just need to find the time and interested parties I guess.
Well, the truck is owned by my buddy Sean, and last I heard, it was nearing completion. It's been chopped and dropped and has an engine. I think the next step for him is wiring. As far as plans for the documentary go, that all depends on when I have some available time to do some more shooting and editing and put together a decent crew to help me out. If anyone is interested in being part of another short or feature, let me know. I'd like to get an eclectic mix of different car builds for a feature length documentary.
yup. good job. seems like a good bunch of guys, very down to earth. nice footage. i need a new computer. my vid card sucks...
I think the video was great! Good job on the video and on your cars. You guys are definirely keeing it real. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff in the future. Thor
Nice one Gabe/Julian, you guys shoulda showed everyone when it was done.. you still going for the series? Dave
Nice job. The piece was well constructed and edited. The overlapping dialog and music tied everything together smoothly. Personally, I'd use less of the swooping and rotating hand-held camera shots since that look is well associated with the Mad Fabricators. I find it headache-inducing.
great job i thought it was well done, but if you want to make it big in dollywood youve got get some more drama in their, where is the tough guy, the idiot, the moron and the know it all. its a very well established script you need to follow to make the triple d's happy. senioreditingvpofshit.
