1952-59 Ford Volvo steering box

Has anyone tried installing a 67-78 Volvo 140 series manual steering box in a 52-53 cars?
This is a popular swap with shoeboxes 49-51 because the way it’s geared this steering box is supposed to feel like the car has power steering. Just wondering why it wouldn’t work on 52-53s

 

Since they are similar suspensions I don't see why it could not be adapted but I have never seen one that was done posted. A guy in one of the facebook Ford groups used this and likes it: https://butchscoolstuff.com/52-53-ford-mercury-car-bolt-in-power-steering-kit-2234/ I would bet finding one in a Pick-A Part would be more common than the Volvo unit and less $$$
