So I am seriously considering attending the Ford Nationals in Carlisle this weekend for the first time. Specifically, the swap meet.

Any opinions on this? Any feedback? I’d be looking for Model T parts. It’s a 6 hour drive for me, sooooooo, lol.

I'm glad it's this weekend, we need the rain. It has been a good show, but it's not worth the bother this year. I would bet you'll be disappointed

I would also say stay home. Last one I went to looking for A parts was bad. Don't think you would have much luck searching for T stuff. Most of the stuff was in the 60's.

My Ford guy friend talked me into going a few years ago, I didn't think it was worth the 6 hour drive as it is mostly a car show , the vendor area was pretty thin, even in the pre virus days.

Agreed, good place for Mustang parts. Unfortunately it would be more beneficial to you to take the drive to Hersey, of course that was canceled this year.

  11. I went to Ford Carlisle last year. Even though it is only a half hour away, I felt that it was a complete waste of time, effort, and money. A better choice for you would be the monthly swap meet at New England Drag-way. A lot of the vendors used to vend at the Amherst, New Hampshire swap meet when it was still in existence.

  12. I found that meet to be good for modern Ford parts, not pre-war II stuff. Also good for a few non-Ford parts.......I picked up a complete SBC triple carb set up, Edelbock manifold and correct 2G end carbs for $140. The guy was having difficulty getting any interest from the Ford crowd.

Yeah, I went to New England Dragway yesterday. Unfortunately, it was pretty ****py. It was my first time there, and it was the first one of the year. I would’ve thought it would be packed with vendors, but, meh!!
