If someone offered you a 1926 ford touring car, complete , no rust ( I think) , good grille solid body but some ****py body work.
Yes, and you would have time to post the photos first thing in the morning. Don't over think this. Bob
Offered free, Free with restrictions or for a low price but with restrictions? I'd love to have a 26 Touring body right now. Don't much care about the rest of one but that could be a speedster or Gow Job.
Ok, just messing with ya , my dad has this car , he has been sorta getting rid of stuff and mentioned that either he would give to me or one of his grandkids , whom would never ,ever touch it. I being humble told him I had little room to store it and so I didn't mind what he decided but he says , " well you would get it going and they would never touch it. He,s 84 and having issues with memory as well . Anyway, think there is a ***le but didn't ask ( don't look a gift horse in the mouth. what do you folks think about making a 2dr bucket out of it?I think I have see irbdone . I have a couple 3 speeds and will have either 1 or 2 flatheads in the next month or so a s thought I might throw something together sometime in the future . I don't mind putting some money and effort into something that will have decent value, but haven't really kept up with the t model rods and don't know of a possible project like this would be a waste of time and money. No hurry on getting car , it is not going anywhere.
I am not that far away. And I have room in my garage..... And I don't need no stinkin' ***le here.... I think that the touring cars make nice looking rods....
They were the First Hot Rods! Some hand tools a set of Buffalos wire wheels and a Fronty overhead and you were in business. Bob
