We as Hot Rodder's wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for this man! A wealth of knowledge and a genuine treasure to the human race. God bless You, Mr. Iskendarian!

As hot rodders we can be selfish about it, we have our own National Treasure. God bless you Ed and thanks for all you have done.

Thanks Pete, what a well done video, to honor an Icon of our sport/hobby. Pat Ganahl produced another great one of Ed as well. How long have you been grinding cams Pete, early 50's I bet. See you around !

I have been at it since 1952. Ground my first one on a bench grinder with templates. It turned out to be fairly close to a 425. I have known Ed since 53.

In the early 60's, me and a buddy bought a Drag Action 1007-B from Clair Heaton at Exhaust Specialties, I bet it was one of yours.

Yes, it was. I ground all of the cams for Exhaust Specialties. The owner and I used to go skiing together. I remember Clair.

I ran an Isky 7000 T in my Ed pink 331 blown gas dragster engine. Flat tappet of course. With an isky blower drive and scott slot one nozzle injector and crank driven pump. Don's boxed rods and Grant blower pistons and Delta crank. Went 202 on gas. :D That stick was only 440 lift. Small by todays standards. Never mind, I'm old. :)

Cool video , thanks for posting. I have CD that Ed gave me at Hot Rod Reunion once. In it he and his dyno man talks about history for an hour or two. Great stuff...
