I have inherited my grandfathers 1939 Mercury with a flathead v8. I had to replace the p***enger side exhaust manifold and when I removed the lower front bolt antifreeze began running out. Is this typical and if so what should I put on the threads when I reinstall to keep from leaking.
    Thanks

Coat the threads with Permatex #2. Black, sticky stuff. Never dries out. [emoji106]
