Folks Of Interest Be careful of scammers

This is a response from my want add as well as our emails. Needless to say no money was sent. Just a warning to be careful when buying/selling anywhere. I sent this same thing to Ryan also. Have a good day.

 

Ida bought the coupe body for $3,965. Boy you missed out there!

 

Unlike some post’s attempt at humor, the sarcasm was palpable in that post.......

Thanks. I sent Ryan a PM as well. I gave the guy a chance by asking for pics of the garnish since it could have been a mistake. Once the second picture came I posted this and PMed Ryan. Sorry, I didn't even think to PM other moderators.

Those types of emails/messages are common on many forums I frequent. Sad, I remember when forums were the one place you could go without getting robbed because everyone was "your people"...

I use the same user name all over the interwebs, I got nothing to hide.

 

Mods @Moriarity maybe there is a way the site can limit Newbies from sending PMs or searching wanted ads as soon as they become members. Have either a time limit or a Min post Limit. We are seeing this come from a lot of tap-a-talk new users on another old forum.

 

i am usually very careful dealing with scammers, i am very careful to shoot only them so that no one else gets hurt.
