PHOTOS POSTED BY BLOWN49 SCROLL DOWN
I have a friend that has a 34 five window that he built back in the late 60's. He bought the car when he was 15 and still has it. He is now retired. The car is running a 394 w/twin scot blowers, 4 dueces, and Ford top loader 4 speed.
He also has a 1931 Ford roadster sitting on a 37 Willys frame and running gear that ran at Muroc in 1947 and held the record for its cl*** 125mph. It was and is running the Willys 4 cyl with a graham blower. The car was nicknamed The Singer Sewing Machine. I have some pics of these cars but need somebody to post them for me. Please a little help.

Thanks Blown49 for taking the time to post the photos for me.

I use irfanview to resize pics, it's free, google it... you can do a bunch of pics at one time...

If you need help from there I've got the steps written somewhere around here...

There is a Bantam running around So Cal with one of those dual blower like a V.Used to see them back in the 60's on cars. That thing looks wild.

Like em or not they are part of the cars personality. Mel put that together back in the late 60's. He hand made the brackets for the blowers. Cut them out of a piece of aluminum with a hacksaw and hand polished them. By the way he does have a 3rd SCOT blower along with a couple of old Graham blowers. The trans is a Ford top loader with a home fabricated overdrive. This guy has so much hot rod knowledge. He also has 4 turboniques, three that are turbins and one that works with the rear axel. I am trying to get him to take the car to Billetproof.

I could overlook pink headers on that thing. Wow is right. Awesome!

  17. I saw this car at the Western street rod nationals way back in the very early 80's. I know this because I have a shot of it on an 8mm movie I took there. Sorry but I can't post a pic.

  18. absolutely right. They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's a shame so many need gl***es.
