Hot Rods Favorite Picture That Says “HotRod”

I started building a full size hot rod in the late 1950s,an models before that,so what said to me "Hot Rod" then an still dose,is the first one I built,and still drive!. It was my take on all the rods I liked,out of those I had seen back then.
The one that had the most influence was on Car Craft cover an then 77 Sunset Strip, on TV 1958 to 64, The star to me was Norm's hot rod,even though I also liked a lot of other rods.
So ya that one sticks out! An some cue mixed in from other rods show up in my own ideas from what is a hot rod!

 

This one literally says "Hot Rod" on the window

 

Man, this thing looks wicked! A hemi with setback...

 

Ken Shoemaker...making it happen at Fonda Speedway back in the day...

got that same album hanging right in front of me, out in the garage/man-cave.
Q: how did they get away with a song called "Penetration" in big bold letters on a 60's album cover.
Let's face it...*** sells.
