Anyone here have a '50's ('56-'60) International pickup? Got pics of your truck? Know of any good sources for finding one? Thanks

I have a 53(52) L-120. It's the 3/4 ton. It's a real project, but for the right offer it could be your real project.

My brother had a PU and a panel.

Refered to them as "Booger" and "Barf" ;)

I am more into the later '50's trucks. Just curious though what would you want for it?

I've got a '60 that's getting the mild custom treatment....

This is one of those times where actually having your location in your profile would help, I belong to a couple of IH groups and there are always guys selling or even giving IH's away.... Post where you are and we might be able to help ya out....

By the way there is a way cool '60 on eBay right now....

I am just outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I have checked e Bay and have the '60 saved. I asked the guy and he said it had a 8.5ft bed. Did these come as shortbeds as well? The '57 that was mentioned above I have saved as well. I am more partial to the '60 though. If I decide t get one I would need it to do some towing duty as well.

    Mines a short bed...

Right now it's still sitting in the shop ready for paint, I just haven't had a combination of weather and time to get it sprayed...

Sorry Bert I can't agree with ya there. I think the body is to square to use the '57 bumper, and I think they over did it on the chop and now the proportions are out of whack, just my opinion....

Hey, burger thats my old cornbinder it's a early 57 (56 bodystyle) the later ones went to the headlights and turn signal in one bezel they also went to a 12 volt system. IH I've heard, titled when sold at the dealer because I have seen many bodies that didn't match the stated year. Pool

Yeah I've heard that too, and it makes sense, Mine is a 52 body and it's an L series which ran through 52, but the title says 53 and all the numbers match. So I think it sat on the lot until it was sold in 53.

Thanks burger, except for a primed hood the truck hasn't changed much. Most of the work has been on the drive train.

  19. Here's mine. Not sure what year it is. '50-'52? Was my great-grandmothers ranch truck. Now it's just sitting waiting to be my shop truck someday.
