If it's a Chevy, which it looks like, there is a lot of wood in the body, with the panels nailed to the wood. That's why the door fits like ****. Lots of work to replace all the wood with metal or recreate all the rotted wood.

Looks like it has a Mustang II front end under it.

  6. If that is a Mustang II under it, that just dropped any offer to a 'thanks, but no thanks' offer. No card carrying HAMBER would even consider offering money on something that will just end up on some moderator's delete ****on. After all, 'tradition' can never become 'traditional' if it's not strictly, and vigorously, adhered to by 'traditionalists'.

Wow! You make it sound as if it could never be fitted with a straight axle again. A true “traditionalist “ would try to buy it right and put a dropped axle under it.

  8. Nope. That would be a hotrodder. The 'traditionalist' would p***, and look for something more 'traditional'.

  9. Isnt a HOTRODDER part of being a traditionalist? And NOT being a streetrodder !

Seriously though, I'm not a "pro", but is that what's called a Chevrolet Confederate?
